Compost, Chicks & More: March 2009
The weather has just been crazy - 70 degrees one week and in the 20s and 30s the next with snow! Those warm balmy days had us outside working away. We built a new compost corral to start utilizing all our resources to create some “black gold” for our garden and flowerbeds. Four fence posts, some rough-cut lumber and old tin from the barn roof and we were ready. We made it wide enough we could get our skid-steer loader inside it to stir and load.

We spent 10 days in San Pedro, Belize scuba diving and relaxing.
November 2007: San Pedro, Belize
Our friends, Darcy and Tom White asked us to join them on a dive trip to San Pedro, Belize on Ambergris Caye, and of course we couldn’t say no! We stayed at a great place right on the beach that was brand new, Caye Caulker. The dives were amazing! I spied a loggerhead turtle and we all got to check her out up close on one dive. We got to pet nurse sharks and saw tons of great fish. We snorkeled in Stingray Alley where there were tons of stingrays and fish. It used to be a favorite place
